This is an IDIQ data focused agile development software factory contract using government provided repositories, continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and open-source languages, libraries, and binaries to the maximum extent practical. We operate in multiple security domains and follow a build low, push high approach to our development. The program consists of integrated contractor and government teams that support multiple projects of varying timelines (typically months to years) helping our customer achieve greater levels of automation, including building and prototyping new data analytics and visualization products, tools, and systems using multi-int data sources. There is a large backlog of projects that often require us to build minimum viable product (MVP) prototypes on-demand. Building the MVPs sometimes requires research and analysis on topics with limited to no established work requiring us to quickly familiarize ourselves with relevant datasets, identifying new techniques, or applying existing techniques to new problems. Once a project is determined to be completed, we immediately begin servicing the next project in the backlog starting with a kick-off meeting for requirements discovery and establishing the backlog. We’ve followed this process for dozens of products and projects on this contract.
